ABOUT LILY NUNWEEK
Lily Nunweek is a seasoned criminal lawyer, with a decade of litigation experience, and considerable experience in complex criminal cases involving drug offending, fraud, driving offences, violence, drugs, sexual offending, manslaughter and murder.
She has undertaken over 50 jury trials and understands how to craft a compelling argument. She also has significant experience in appeals, as well as experience with regulatory prosecutions involving a number of different government departments.
Prior to becoming a criminal defence barrister, Lily worked as a Crown Prosecutor. This background has given Lily a valuable understanding of how the prosecution builds their case. She knows their strategies and where their weaknesses lie, and uses this insight to your advantage.
Lily can be instructed privately and is also approved to undertake Legal Aid criminal assignments, as well as criminal appeals in the Court of Appeal or Supreme Court.
Lily also has significant experience in the Coroners Court. She is approved to undertake Legal Aid assignments in the coronial jurisdiction, and is able to guide you through what can be an incredibly difficult process with compassion, knowledge and expertise.
